Favorite Greeneville (and close by) Wedding Venues

Thanks for stopping by! This is Tammy with MK Photography. We are a Greeneville based company of three photographers that specialize in weddings, maternity, families, and babies.
Today, we are chatting about our favorite Greeneville wedding venues. I've cheated a little bit and included a few from Washington County as well, but they're too close not to include!

These are in no particular order, kind of just what was fresh on my mind! So, there is no favoritism here! We love to shoot at locations specifically designed for weddings, farms turned into venues, and even parks that are used as wedding venues. It does not matter to us whether you spent $5,000 on your venue or $50. Hey, in my book, free is best ;) I personally got married on the family farm!

1) Myers Farm. This beautiful family farm near Mosheim and Bulls Gap is a beautiful outdoor option for a great wedding. Vera Ann and her family are the sweetest people to work with.

2) Johnston Homeplace. This immaculate facility was built for weddings. The views cannot be beat. Ginia and her family are fantastic, Christian people that treat you like family.

3) Still Hollow Century Farm. This beautiful venue is one of the most popular farms in the area. Definitely plan ahead if you want to get in!

4) Nolichucky Vineyard. This location is a few exits up but is a fantastic venue with multiple ceremony and reception sights. Alex is fantastic to work with.

5) The General Morgan Inn. This hotel is a classy, timeless indoor venue to meet the most pristine tastes. They also have a terrace to please any outdoor needs. Fancy is an understatement.

6) Davy Crockett Birthplace (Chuckey area). This is a great outdoor, low-cost option with beautiful scenery. They also have pavilions in case of a drizzle.

7) Andrew Johnson Homeplace. The backyard of this public museum is gorgeous and rather large to be in the middle of downtown Greeneville. Definitely under-used!

8) Katy Branch (Chuckey). This public property has a cute pavilion and cabin often used for low cost weddings. Very private and has a kitchen!

9) Walnut Lawn Farms. This is a new-ish venue located seconds from downtown Greeneville. Location is prime, and the farm is gorgeous.

10) Maple Lane Farm (Jonesborough/JC). It is a little drive up the road towards Johnson city. The owners are super great to work with and the house to get ready in is stunning.

11) The Heritage (Jonesborough). This venue is the perfect location for brides that are sick of barn weddings. The owner is a great business woman that has taken a hillside in Jonesborough and turned it into the most fabulous venue.

12) Jonesborough International Storytelling Center. Definitely a unique option for an indoor wedding, this venue is just a short drive up the road.
